Atlas Adventures

Goal: Create and brand a food truck

Anyone can do one for tacos or burgers. I wanted something more… memorable (you can decide what type). With the help of friends one lazy night we spitballed dozens of names for this hypothetical truck selling “unusual” foods from around the world. What better name than the deity who holds up the world mixed with some alliteration?

The Atlas Adventures food truck shows our differences while celebrating our biggest similarity: eating food! My natural illustration style is shonen/seinen anime-inspired, cartoony but mature. That wouldn’t work for a truck that’s a space where people laugh together while leaving their comfort zone. Something more cartoony and less regional, along with sharable cards reflecting customers’ emotions, was more approachable and engaging, serving as a chance to leave my own comfort zone in one of my hardest, but favorite projects.
